It is with the greatest pleasure that the Association "Unité Capétienne",
two of its most active princely members and its President have come to the
assistance of the singer Ouliana Chaikovsky in her benevolent action for the
child victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the Ukraine.
|
|
One must
know that while Ukraine is only three hours away from Paris by air and while
the Chernobyl accident goes back more than fifteen years, still 22% of the
young children being born in the Ukraine die in their first year.

As president and founder of the Vesna Association (Ukrainian spring) whose
godfather is from now on HRH Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orléans, Ouliana
Chaikovsky stages tours in France by a company of fifty young Ukrainian
dancers of outstanding talent, in order to raise funds for purchasing
medicines and surgical equipment, among other items, intended for the two
children's hospitals of the city of Lviv where thousands of those innocent
young victims are treated.

|
Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice of Bourbon-Sicily, princess with a
big heart, Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orléans, Vesna's godfather and
Jacques-Henri Auclair have warmly responded to Ouliana Chaikovsky's call, in
the name of all the friends of the Association Unité Capétienne and in
memory of Queen Anna of Kiev, an ancestor of all French kings, striving to
be as useful as they can by lighting a beam of hope for those children's
parents and bringing a smile on the lips of the little victims.
