It is in the presence of
HHRRHH the duke and duchess of Calabria, married three weeks
ealier in the cathedral of Monaco, that Simone
Bertière was awarded the Prix Hughes Capet of 1998,
by HRH the Comtesse de Paris. Four hundred guests attended
the coctail, with France 2, the French television channel,
following the event. Two hundred and seventy priviledged
guests subsequently attended the gala dinner in the honour
of the new princely couple, in the presence of thirty two
princes and princesses of the house of Bourbon, of which HRH
the Comtesse de paris, president of the jury, the Duke of
Castro, head of the Royal House of the Two Sicilies, and his
wife, as well as many princes of the Sicilies, Parma and
Orléans.
