During the deliberations of the jury, chaired by H.R.H Princesse Beatrice de Bourbon des Deux-Siciles, the conversations were very lively and the notorious members of the jury, after an hour and fourty five minutes and five polls, decided to reward Jean-Pierre Thomas for his excellente opus, "the Regent and the Cardinal Dubois", published by Payot S.A.R. la

The traditional raffle, in favour of disabled children, was then held by Maitre Pierre Cornette de Saint-Cyr and Jacques-Henri Auclair. Winners were Madame Férid Fetni (the very elegant, numbered CARTIER "stylo-loupe"), Françoise de Boisfleury (the fantastic CARVEN watch), H.R.H Princess Marina de Bourbon-Parme (the pearl-necklace offered by high jewelry designer François Berthelin), and Count Michel Gaudard de Soulages (a stay in the best five-satr hotel in Djerba, Tunisia).
