It was again in the Royal Drawing Room of Pierre Cardin-owned Residence Maxim's in Paris that have gathered all the friends of the Association Unité Capétienne sharing a common passion for History. The famous historian Philippe Delorme, at President Jacques-Henri Auclair's request, delivered very talentedly a highly interesting conference on Alienor d'Aquitaine, Queen of France and England.
SAR Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orleans, SA Duchess Rixa Oldenburg, Amiral and Comtesse Lecointre, Madame Jean Tiberi and all the fascinated attendants learnt a lot about the life of this women, who remained in control of her fate and was a well-read and well-aware Queen, protected artists and arts, and died at 82, which was exceptional for the times (1204).
The reception ended with a cocktail party, with Champagne Maxim's, in a particularly warm atmosphere, that the guests finally left, agreeing to meet again on 25 Novembre, for the Association's anniversary.
