The magnificent Royal Salon of Paris Residence Maxims was running short of seats, during the fascinating conference on the Iron Mask, held by one of our most renowned historians. Based on irrevocable historical sources, Mr Petitfils lead the attendees in a breath-taking inquiry, worth the best crime novels. He provided the most logical and convincing explanations to this mystery, one of the deepest of our History. Madame the Comtesse of Paris, H.R.H. Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orleans, Madame Jean Tiberi, Madame Jean-Bernard Raimond, Pierre Pujo and all the other amateurs of History were delighted by this conference by the Hugues Capet Prize 1995 Laureate. They could all find out about who really was this secret prisoner, locked by Louis XIV into the Sainte-Marguerite citadel.
And finally, as usual after each of the conferences organised by Jacques-Henri Auclair, the evening ended with a champagne Maxim's cocktail party, in a particularly warm atmosphere, and with Madame la Comtesses de Paris' everlasting smile.
