Morocco was the place where H.R.H. Prince Charles-Philippe d'Orléans's 30th birthday celebrations took place. Thinking that he was flying to Austria, with Comtesse Elisabeth d'Udekem d'Acoz and Président Jacques-Henri Auclair only, Prince Charles-Philippe was immensely surprise when he met 8 more
friends of his at the airport and when he realised he would actually fly to Marrakech.

During six days, the Prince and his friends, who were amazingly hosted by Antoine van Doorne, in the Marrakech Palmeraie, were invited for supper by
the city socialites, including the flamboyant Adolfo de Velasco. During the day, equally unforgettable, the troup enjoyed trips to Atlas mountains,
sunny Essaouira beaches, Marrakech soukhs, and of course, well-deserved rest by Antoine's pool.

Back to Paris, the Prince was lucky enough to have a second surprise. 4 hours after he got back from Marrakech, following a plan very well thought
through by his closest friends, he found himself at Le Massyl, rue Papillon, a Moroccan restaurant in Paris, where 30 of his friends were waiting for him
to celebrate his birthday for the second time in 5 days.

But celebrations are not over, as the gala supper for the 9th Anniversary of the Association Unité Capétienne, hosted on Monday 2 June, at Cercle de l'Union Interalliee in Paris, will be another opportunity to celebrate the Prince's birthday.
