It is on 26 November 1996, that in the presence of His Majesty Emperor Bao-Dai, of Queen Fadila of Egypt, numerous royal highnesses, 18 princes and princesses of the House of Bourbon and of all the greatest living French historians, that Her Royal Highness the Comtesse de Paris awarded the 1996 Prix Hughes Capet to Jean-François Chiappe for his book on Louis XV published by the Editions Perrin.
